Narangba Innovation Precinct’s (NiP) very own Attollo Australia Pty Ltd has taken out top billing at the 2017 Moreton Bay Innovation Awards.
Winning top prize at the MBIA Awards
Announced at the Awards’ Gala event at Kallangur, Narangba’s Attollo Australia scooped up both the $10,000 Innovation of the Year and $2,550 Established Innovation categories for its entry, the hydraulic rotating dual push-pull clamp for forklifts, which allows forklift drivers to easily handle and manage different-sized loads without the need for pallets.
When asked what does Innovation mean to Attollo Australia, Managing Director Stefan Marschner states “Innovation is a mind set that is installed in Attollo’s culture, from sales through engineering to production. Innovation is not just an idea, it is a continual process that needs to be adopted with an attitude of challenging current norms and a focus on commercial success.”
Upon hearing the news of Attollo’s success at the awards, Shane Newcombe RDA Moreton Bay Committee Chair, says “I would like to congratulate Stefan and his team on the awards as this is a fantastic result for not only the Narangba Innovation Precinct but the region as a whole when it comes to Innovation activities. We look forward to seeing how the members of NiP can learn from and embrace Attollo’s innovative culture and business practices as we push on with our collaborative activities into 2017.”
