Be part of the Regional Innovation Showcase at Myriad 2018

Moreton Bay Region startups and entrepreneurs now have the opportunity to be involved in a showcase offering international exposure at the premier technology and innovation conference – Myriad 2018.

The three-day festival will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane from 16-18 May, attracting delegates from around the globe including major corporations, international investors and entrepreneurs.

As part of the delegation for Moreton Bay Region, 10 eligible entrepreneurs, startups and innovative SMEs will be invited to exhibit at the Myriad Festival, build connections, and attend presentations.

Eligibility – who can apply?

Applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements in order to apply for a spot on the regional showcase for Moreton Bay Region, with funding provided under the Queensland Government’s Advancing Regional Innovation Program (ARIP).

Businesses and individuals must demonstrate innovation which aligns with at least one of the seven central themes of Myriad: cities, health, food, money, work, play, and culture.

They must also be able to demonstrate some of the following:

• Have the potential for high growth or be globally focused

• Identify as a new to market or new to world product/service

• Evidence of early sales traction

• Have an innovation which is at or beyond minimal viable product

• Investors have already injected funds into the business.

In its debut year (2017), Myriad Festival saw over 100 regional innovators showcase their ideas to more than 3,500 delegates from around the world.

This year, the Regional Innovation Showcase aims to build on the success of 2017 and provide a unique platform for regional entrepreneurs to exhibit, network and make valuable contacts across Australia and the Asia Pacific.
