Business and Professional Women (Caboolture) proudly presents:
Women’s Money Matters
In this economic and social climate, it is extremely important for women, whether in business or not, to have an understanding and awareness of how to manage their money and make it work for them. Unfortunately, many women do not have the skills, understanding or confidence to create wealth for themselves and often find themselves struggling financially at various times in their lives. For those who are pretty financially savvy, it is always good practice to upgrade their skills and be aware of what is trending in the marketplace.
For this reason and to celebrate Women’s Week, BPW Caboolture is holding a special forum at The Hub on Tuesday, March 5th.
The day will be divided into a morning and an afternoon session with a light lunch provided on the Terrace .
Session 1: 9.30 – 12 noon Economic Journey for Women
This session, held in The Hub meeting rooms, features 4 workshops with specialist speakers on 4 topics:
- Savings and Obtaining a Home Loan
- Business Management & Tax
- Superannuation Demystified
- Protecting Yourself & Your Family
Session 2: 12.30pm – 2.30pm Financial Q&A with Local Businesswomen
This session, held on the Terrace, is a Q&A format with 4 local businesswomen who will discuss their careers and business experiences.
The event is specifically for women to celebrate Women’s Week and is aimed at all ages and walks of life. The event is FREE for ALL women in the Moreton Bay Region. Bookings are essential through Eventbrite.

Live Your Life by Design Not Default!
(All proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Nourish the Children Foundation)
THS EVENT IS NOT TO BE MISSED
No matter what your industry, job title, or circumstances – This is a must attend presentation if you are serious about 2019 becoming a success on all levels.
Live Your Life by Design – Not by Default….
In 2019 how does one begin to take back their life and start living their life by design?
You must identify and adapt in order to thrive.
Most people treat “life” as something that happens to them. They are the victim. When things go wrong, it’s someone else’s fault. When they don’t get promoted, it’s because of the environment. When a project goes haywire, when their team falls short, when the end product doesn’t quite come to fruition, they are never the one to blame.
These people react to life, and let outside circumstances decide their fate.
They live by Default
This evening Eric will share 3 basic principles that global, #worldclass thought leaders are using to create a life of success, happiness and freedom.
Presenter: Katrina Puranik

Monthly Chamber Breakfast and networking meeting: Good Mental Is Good For Business
One in five Australians experience mental health issues. And when you run your own business, you bring yourself and all your issues right into that business. Any existing issues show up and tend to be exacerbated. Add in the additional stress of starting up and running a business and it can be a recipe for mental illness, financial stress and even suicide.
- Linda Conyard is passionate about eliminating unnecessary trauma through education and training. She specialises in Trauma Recovery and is a Mentor for Women in business. Linda brings a fresh approach to helping women resolve issues that show up in their businesses as a result of unresolved pshyco-emotional events and generational repeating patterns.
- Di Krome is a business and money coach and she is on a mission to help professional women take control of their money, ease financial stress and create a life of abundance. After hitting rock bottom in 2017, with her daughter calling an ambulance for a suspected stroke brought on by a sustained period of stress, anxiety and depression, and with conventional medicine failing her, Di turned to Linda for help.
Linda and Di are passionate about helping women in business recognise when their mental health is suffering and how to ask for help.
Key Learning Outcomes
- How to recognise the signs of mental distress and when to seek help
- How to find the right person to support you
- Simple daily habits to boost your mental health
