Chances are you will find a yoga class that suits you in my studio.
I offer small group yoga sessions, for 1 to 8 people, in a dedicated private yoga space in Moodlu. In this peaceful and quiet location, you can join in Chair Yoga, a class where we do seated and standing asana using the support of the chair, breathing and relaxation practices; or Gentle Yoga, a mat based class that incorporates the Gentle Joint Release sequence, and other standing, seated and lying down asana, breathing and relaxation practices or Meditation: guided relaxation, breathing, meditation and mindfulness practices.
Because the numbers are small, you receive the personal attention you need and get to meet and interact with other class members in a friendly, casual, relaxed setting. There are also plenty of props to ensure your body will be supported how it needs to be supported.
I have been doing yoga for over 20 years and teaching for 8 years, after completing 350hr Yoga Teacher training and registering with Yoga Australia. I have done many follow on training programs, including LifeForce Yoga for Anxiety and Depression, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Chair Yoga for Seniors, Meditation Teacher Training and ACT for beginners. My interest is in providing yoga for older people, people who need to be careful with their bodies due to ageing or injuries and supporting mental wellbeing. I'm NOT young, thin and super-flexible, and certainly not pain free, so I understand how the body feels as it ages.
For those who find it difficult to get around, I also offer chair yoga and meditation on ZOOM, so you can join in from home.
