Greetings and welcome to our new website. The Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay website is a work in progress and your feedback is valuable, so email the Director at if you have any comments or special requests.

We have tried to reflect requests made to us so far – making the items such as grants and tenders more prominent and therefore easier to find on the site. Let us know what you think.

We have also introduced “Get Inspired”, a regular feature that provides a chatty interview with a Moreton Bay business. It is the stories of how real people made their business dreams come true and now about sharing the lessons they learned along the way. Over the next twelve months Nette will be criss-crossing the region to talk to business people from all corners and from a range of different types of business. Have a look at our very first interview with Gena and Ross Campbell of Redcliffe Garden Centre. I think you find it interesting.

Have Your Say

Another new feature of the website is “Have Your Say”. This is a page where we will have information and notifications of government consultations as well as surveys and other consultation opportunities from relevant organisations including ourselves. Currently there are three federal government consultations available for your input:

  • The Universal Service Guarantee (USG) for telecommunications is being developed in response to the Productivity Commission’s inquiry into the Universal Service Obligation(USO). The Universal Service Obligation Taskforce is currently consulting with stakeholders. Find out more here
  • Public submissions are open for the Independent Review of the Australian Public Service. Closing date for submissions is 13 July 2018. Find out more here
  • The Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, the Hon Kelly O’Dwyer MP, has released the first tranche of the Corporate Collective Investment Vehicle (CCIV) Bill for public consultation. Closing date for submissions is 11 July 2018. Find out more here

Keep an eye out for a short RDA Moreton Bay survey that will be available very soon. We would love to hear from you about your business needs and how we may be able to help. By completing the survey, you will be assisting us with our business planning and helping to ensure that we bring you programs that are relevant and useful.
