ADVANCE Queenslandfunded mentoring programs for Moreton Bay entrepreneurs have assisted 20 new innovative businesses in 12 months, Innovation Minister Leeanne Enoch said.
Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay was successful in obtaining $23,000 support through Advance Queensland.
Participants in the two project programs, delivered by training provider Edgeware Creative Entrepreneurship, pursued business interests such as photojournalism, horticulture, wellbeing, art therapy, children’s health, recycling and engineering.
A ceremony acknowledging participants was held in the Main Hall on The Corso at North Lakes on June 18.
Graduating entrepreneurs received the Certificate III in Micro Business Operations.
